Brandon Collins

Brandon Collins joined the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy Board of Directors in January 2018.  Originally from Bismarck North Dakota he moved to the cities in 2012.

Brandon is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.  Brandon currently works for a local not for profit Credit Union as a mortgage loan officer.  He is also a volunteer ambassador for the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and frequently helps build homes with the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.

When asked what his favorite park was Brandon said “there are so many great parks in Saint Paul it’s hard to just pick one. I could easily say Raspberry Island which is my wife’s favorite, it is also where I proposed to her. However, personally I really enjoy the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary. The fact that you can be near the action in downtown Saint Paul and a few steps later feel like you are in the wilderness is great amenity for our community.”

Parks do something more for our communities than provide a place to play with your kids or read a book or eat a quick lunch on your break.  Parks are important because they provide a space for communities to grow and thrive.
