Enjoy outdoor games and toast s’mores to outgoing Parks Director Mike Hahm!
Mike Hahm leaves us this month as Director of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation after 13 years as director and 36 years with the department. Mike has always been a champion of getting outdoors in all seasons, so we are declaring March 5 as “Mike Hahm Get Outdoors Day.” Come to Como Park from 2:30-4:00 p.m. for snowshoeing, snow painting, sledding, cross-country skiing and a Mike Hahm Trivia/Scavenger Hunt. At 3:45 p.m., we’ll gather around the Como fire pits (near the West Picnic Pavilion) for hot beverages, cookies, s’mores and a well-deserved congratulations.
This free event is sponsored by Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, Como Friends, the Trust for Public Land, the Great River Passage and the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy.
