Support the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy –
Now or Later

If you want to help ensure that SPPC has financial security and achieves a lasting impact, consider including us in your long-term philanthropic plans.  SPPC, along with resources and guidance of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations, can help you establish  a way to give that will allow you to easily support SPPC.  Meaningful support can be provided to SPPC during your lifetime or through your will or estate plan.

Ways to Give:

Designated funds – Designated funds ensure that your gift has maximum impact.  Your fund will be managed as part of a diversified investment portfolio and grant distributions may grow annually.

Charitable gift annuity – In return for your gift, you receive a guaranteed, fixed income for life at a rat that’s often higher than that of a savings account or certificate of deposit.

Charitable remainder trust – A charitable remainder trust allows you to make a charitable gift, receive income throughout your lifetime, and also possibly benefit from a tax reduction or reduction of capital gains tax.

Stock & Mutual Fund Transfers

Saint Paul Parks Conservancy welcomes all stock and mutual fund transfers, with no minimum requirements.  Giving stock held more than 12 months offers a two-fold tax savings. First, you avoid paying capital-gains tax on the increase in value of your stock. In addition, you receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift. Subtracting the tax savings from what you originally paid for the stock can result in a gift that costs just pennies on the dollar. This is an excellent vehicle for stock that has appreciated substantially in value.
