Winter Tour of Como Woodland

Want to get the kids outside for some winter nature fun? Meet us at the historic Kilmer Fireplace for a cup of hot chocolate and a 90-minute nature tour of Como Woodland.  Our hardy Como Woodland Advisors will give you a warm welcome and provide a winter Treasure Hunt designed for elementary age kids.  Enjoy the woods while looking for clues that teach about how plants and animals survive in the winter and how indigenous cultures value the land. Hot coco and goodies included. FREE.

Make sure you dress for the weather.  Children must attend with an adult.  Event may be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.

Registration is not required but is appreciated so we can update you in case of weather changes.
