St. Paul Downtown Improvement District Expands to Lowertown & Downtown Parks

The St. Paul Downtown Improvement District (DID) is growing! This expansion now includes Lowertown and key downtown parks, such as Mears Park, Pedro Park, and Wacouta Commons, ensuring even greater coverage to keep our city’s public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for all.

With this expansion, DID’s Street Team Ambassadors will now be stationed throughout downtown, in public spaces, and in our parks—offering assistance, enhancing safety, and keeping our streets and green spaces looking great.

What Services Do Ambassadors Provide?

DID Ambassadors are easily recognized in their bright yellow uniforms and are available 7 days a week, from 7 AM to 11 PM. They can:
✅ Assist with directions & safety escorts
✅ Report and address graffiti, litter, and broken glass
✅ Offer wellness checks and non-emergency assistance
✅ Help keep parks and public spaces safe & clean
