It’s time to party like it’s 1849! Join us in the heart of Saint Paul at Irvine Park this Friday, May 16, for ParksGiving Day—our annual celebration of the city’s incredible park system giving day to support parks.
At 12:15 PM, hear from Council President Rebecca Noecker and Parks & Recreation Director Andy Rodriguez about the State of Our Parks—the exciting progress, upcoming projects, and why our parks remain essential to Saint Paul’s future.
🎉 What’s in store:
- 🎂 Birthday cake and local eats from Potter’s Pasties
- 🎶 Live music from Adam Bohanan to keep the celebration lively
- 🎨 People & Parks Coloring Book signing with artist Jeanne Kosfeld
- 💧 The triumphant return of the restored Victorian fountain—a jewel of Irvine Park
And yes, we’ve got tents ready, just in case the forecasted spring rain shows up. (Our 200+ volunteer garden stewards agree: we could use it!)
Come celebrate Saint Paul’s parks—past, present, and future. Visit parksgivingday.org to donate, rsvp for the birthday party and learn more.
