Exciting changes are underway in downtown Saint Paul! Construction has officially begun on the transformation of worn-out Hamm Plaza into the vibrant new Ecolab Plaza—a beautiful, welcoming space that reflects the vitality of our city and the global mission of its namesake.
Thanks to a $2 million investment from Ecolab, the reimagined plaza will feature lush garden beds, plentiful open space for gathering, and a striking signature art element evoking spouting water—a fitting tribute to a hometown company dedicated to protecting and purifying water around the world.
Located in the heart of the city, the new Ecolab Plaza is designed to be a dynamic urban oasis for residents, downtown workers, and visitors alike. With completion slated for Fall 2025, this revitalized space will offer a fresh and inspiring environment in the heart of downtown.
