After years of anticipation, Pedro Park is nearly ready to welcome the community! Construction is moving along beautifully and should be complete by Aug 20.
Now it’s our turn to help bring the park to life.
We’re excited to announce the official launch of the Friends of Pedro Park — the volunteer group dedicated to caring for the park’s perennial gardens, planting annuals, and helping ensure this downtown green space remains clean, beautiful, and welcoming for all.
🌸 Here’s how you can help:
👉Make a gift of $50, $75, or $100 to help us purchase garden tools and the first wave of annuals to be planted this August.
Your gift will go twice as far thanks to a matching grant from the Saint Paul Garden Club!
👉Sign up to volunteer (if you haven’t yet)! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just love spending time outdoors, we’d love to have you involved.
Sign up to help (if you’ve already done this, we’ll be reaching out directly).
Upcoming Volunteer Events:
👉Aug 11, 8:00 AM Volunteer kick off meeting and “behind the fence” look at the park.
👉Aug 18 – 5:30 PM Orientation, garden tour, planting of annuals
The official ribbon cutting and community celebration date is still in the works — likely soon after Labor Day.
This park has been a long time coming. Let’s make sure it starts strong.
