Dee Schutte has a long history of organizational management most recently four years working with Dowell Management, an association management and consulting company serving professional associations and charitable non-profit organizations including the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy. In her role with SPPC, Dee provides day-to-day management of the organization, supports the Board of Directors including the preparation and monitoring of the annual business plan, implements the annual communications plan, maintains the donor database and fulfills project management of SPPC’s fundraising efforts for projects and operations.
Having a strong background in board and organizational development and public policy, Dee served eight years as Executive Director for the Litchfield Area Chamber of Commerce, a 240-member business organization. She also served as Executive Vice President for the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce with an emphasis on community affairs and leadership development.
Dee enjoys traveling to the Caribbean almost as much as traveling to see her family members in Kansas, Virginia, Texas and Tennessee. An accomplished pianist, she recently began taking music lessons and is learning to play the baritone ukulele.
