For generations, the Mississippi River has been the heartbeat of Saint Paul, shaping our history and livelihoods. But today, many Saint Paul residents and visitors walk through downtown without realizing how close they are to the river that built this city. We’re working to reconnect people and the river.

Coming Soon: Downtown Riverwalk 

In just under two miles, experience the places and events that create our living history along the river downtown. The Riverwalk is anchored by three public parks: Kellogg Mall Park, Upper Landing Park, and Lower Landing, and bordered by the Science Museum to the west and Union Depot and Lambert’s Landing to the east.

• Meander through award-winning parks and landmarks.
• Enjoy expansive river views. 
• Learn about moments in time and the people whose stories are all connected through the river.  
• Or sit and watch the world go by.
