In October 2025, more than 100 community volunteers came together to build the brand-new Taylor Park playground—now successfully completed! This joyful, hard-working day of service was made possible through the leadership and generosity of many partners: KABOOM!, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, Common Cent funding, J.E. Dunn Construction, Southeast Community Organization, Leadership Saint Paul, and the Saint Paul Jaycees Foundation.
One young park fan summed up the excitement best when they exclaimed, “It’s even the colors we wanted!”
The new playground is a proud part of the Conservancy’s Equal Play Saint Paul initiative, which is expanding access to high-quality play spaces, courts, fields, recreation, and nature-based programs in neighborhoods where investment is needed most.
Thanks to everyone involved, Taylor Park now has a vibrant, welcoming playground where children can laugh, grow, explore, and thrive for years to come.
