Maura enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking in St. Paul parks and can frequently be found at Crosby Farm Park.
Maura is a Senior Consultant and Strategist at Summit Innovation Partners, LLC.
Before her current role, she served as Vice President for Economic Engagement at Marquette University and as Executive Director of the University of Minnesota’s Office of Economic Development.
Prior to her academic roles, Maura spent more than 20 years at Medtronic, Inc. and has extensive leadership experience in the medical device and biotechnology industries.
She is a graduate of Macalester College and received a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Washington.
She is a Trustee Emerita at Macalester College and has served on the Board of Directors for Medical Alley and for University Enterprise Laboratories.
Maura serves on the Conservancy’s Communications Committee.
