Thank you, Leadership St Paul Volunteers

Seven community leaders have really stepped up this season.

The St. Paul Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership St Paul program is the premier experience in the Twin Cities for emerging and new-to-market civic and business leaders. The program attracts rising stars from companies like 3M, Bremer Bank, Securian, Spire, and Xcel Energy annually. A vital element of the experience is partnering a team of leaders with a nonprofit for a service project.

The Conservancy has benefitted this summer from the insights, talents, and good old “sweat equity” of seven amazing volunteers:

Danielle Bishop (Securian)

Brian Douglas Harvey (Xcel Energy)

Kevin Macrina (Land O’ Lakes)

Patrick O’Neill (Larson King)

Leah Patnode (Securian)

Kyle Thibodeau (Regions Hospital)

Maria Rebollar Vallejo (Fairview Health)

They started with a tour and deep dive into parks on the East Side, served as key volunteers for the “Party for the Parks” event in June, and will be assisting on September 23rd with the “Coming Home to Swede Hollow” event.

The 2023 class of Leadership St Paul is enrolling now with a deadline of October 14, 2022. Anyone in the Twin Cities metro area can apply to Leadership St. Paul; usually, applicants live and/or work in the St. Paul/East Metro Area; some just work in St. Paul, and some just live in St. Paul. The application process consists of an online application and an in-person or virtual interview. Click here for an overview of the program.
