Update on Beaux, Wacouta Commons Park Hero

Beloved St Bernard crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving volunteers heartbroken.

Franco Guerra’s 227-lb St. Bernard Beaux earned a special reputation among the Friends of Wacouta Commons Park. From guarding the park while Franco gardened in the evening to greeting little kids with a wag of his tail, Beaux was the park’s “doggie ambassador.” Beaux’s death last week has left all his friends bereft. Franco’s little dog Gus can still be seen out in the park, and Franco hopes to get a new St. Bernard puppy in the coming year.

Here’s a link to last month’s feature on Franco and Beaux in case you missed it. Our hearts go out to all Beaux’s friends.
