Local artist Jeanne Kosfeld’s designs honor two Saint Paul classics!
We’re thrilled to launch two new park gear designs by Saint Paul artist Jeanne Kosfeld. Her painting of the beloved Bouncing Team in Rice Park during Winter Carnival is a new Rice Park design. From the ice sculptures to the parade and royal festivities, Rice Park has long been the home of Saint Paul’s unique festival.
Honoring the famous Paul Manship sculpture that is the centerpiece of Cochran Park at Summit and Western Avenues, Jeanne used quick brush strokes to convey the work’s sense of movement. In 2023, the fountain that houses the sculpture will be restored, and new plantings will be added to this treasured pocket park on Summit Avenue.
