Saint Paul’s 2024 Park Permit Lottery Now Open

Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024 Park Permit Lottery, opening up a world of possibilities for residents and businesses.

How to Enter the Exciting Park Permit Lottery: Now through 4:30 p.m. on December 20, 2023, Saint Paul residents and businesses can apply to enter the lottery online or by phone. This streamlined process ensures everyone has an equal chance to secure coveted dates and locations for their events. 

Entering is a Breeze: 

  • Visit stpaul.gov/parkpermits or call Parks Customer Service at 651-266-6400 to submit your lottery application form by the December 20 deadline. 
  • All entries received by the deadline will be randomly sorted, and further instructions will be provided to our enthusiastic entrants. 

Important Details to Note: 

  • Please remember, only one entry per resident is allowed, and entries cannot be transferred. 
  • Verification of Saint Paul residency is a must! Residents will need to present a valid driver’s license or government-issued ID, while businesses can use documentation such as letterhead, stationery, or a business card displaying a Saint Paul address. 
  • Organizations claiming tax-exempt status must complete a Minnesota ST3 form. 

Dates to Mark in Your Calendar: 

  • Starting January 2, 2024, permits will be issued to the lucky lottery entrants, marking the official beginning of an exciting year filled with celebrations. 
  • From January 3, 2024, all Saint Paul residents and businesses can apply for permits via phone from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 
  • February 1, 2024, is the date when non-residents can join the fun by applying for permits, and online shelter permits will also be available.
