We are on Indigenous land, which holds both stories of birth and community, as well as irreparable and ongoing harm. Spend some time learning about the history and the people of this land. Take time to honor the people who were forcibly removed as well as those who are still here.

As you explore the outdoors this week, consider the weight of the love and the hardship this land holds. Feel your feet on the ground and allow yourself to really feel into your connection to this place. Once we feel connected, we’re more likely to want to take care of the connection.
