Dedicate a Bench
Dedicate an existing park bench ($1,500) or refurbish one that’s already in the perfect spot ($3,500). Make a big impact by adding a new bench or table ($5,500 – $10,000 depending on location).
Special opportunities:
COMO LAKE: There is just ONE new bench available along Como Lake. There are 8 benches along McMurray Fields and near the Midway Pavilion available for dedication.
MEARS PARK: All the benches in Mears Park have been refurbished and dedications are available for just $1,500. Order yours today.
Unless otherwise noted, all named dedications are for 10 years and are renewable.
Please note that no bench dedications are currently available along Mississippi River Blvd or in Rice Park.
Plant a Memorial Tree in a Park
Giving a tree is life-affirming and makes the world a better place. The person you are honoring will receive a customized mailed card with the date of the gift and the location of their tree. $650. (Cost includes tree, planting labor, one year of watering and one-year warranty for replacement.)
The spring planting order deadline is March 1; the fall planting deadline is Aug. 1. Please note that due to storm damage, we are actively seeking tree donations in Como Park, particularly on Picnic Hill, South end of Lake Como & across Nagasaki Rd, South of Estabrook Drive, Como Pool area, West Picnic grounds & Fire Pits.

Dedications are available for two- to ten-year terms. All dedications are renewable.
